Summary
The 2024 general election has, for the first time in 30 years, potentially opened the door for real policy reform. The Free Market Foundation, relying on the standards of the Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom of the World annual report, has proposed a comprehensive reform package that, if adopted, would see South Africa’s people freed and its economy prospering by 2029.
