Deregulation

Government is ultimately a third-party in every instance of economic activity in the market, and as such its ‘intervention’ in that activity is in fact interference. Such interference causes inefficiencies, distortions of market signals and, most importantly, nullifies the agency and dignity of those people and firms that are in fact, productive participants in economic activity. The Free Market Foundation believes government must deregulate the economy as far as possible.
