Martin van Staden, FMF Head of Policy, was featured in the Cape Argus (Independent Group) on Wednesday, 22 November, on the Free Market Foundation’s reaction to slowdowns at Transnet’s Cape Town port facilities. Van Staden expressed a preference for the wholesale privatisation of the port, failing which it must be taken over operationally by the municipal and/or provincial governments.
