Dare to be Free
The wonderous power of the word ‘no’ has been lost to civilians in their relationship with the state. The inability to negotiate with the state or, in dire circumstances, simply refuse to comply with its harmful dictates, has engendered a sense of despondency and even defeatism among a commercial and civilian community that feels powerless and at the total mercy of usually incompetent, often corrupt politicians and officials. The FMF seeks to revitalise the power of ‘no’, and wants ordinary people to once more dare to be free.
