When it suits them, SA’s leaders treat international bodies and foreign governments as infallible oracles.
The reality is that most of us, female or male, are average in most aspects.
The state does not respect its citizens. Individuals are forced to respect the state.
People like Malema and Mngxitama would have long been behind bars in civilised societies, but remain at large – MPs in fact – in SA.
Forgetting is not an option.

Lawmakers would do well to do something they have yet to do – ask the public in 2025 “is this bill really a priority when South Africa faces so many other problems?”
