1 MILLION RAND CHALLENGE
Your support helps us expand individual liberty in South Africa, remove barriers to work, defend property rights, and protect families from harmful state power. Every contribution strengthens the movement for a freer and more prosperous country.
- With your support, we can raise R1 million by the end of February and carry the fight for liberty into 2026.
SOUTH AFRICA IS AT A TURNING POINT
- Millions remain locked out of work.
- Businesses face a maze of labour regulation and race based laws.
- Property rights are threatened by expropriation without compensation.
The result is clear. Centralised control has failed. The more the state interferes in daily life, the less able it becomes to meet even its basic obligations. South Africa cannot grow when government blocks opportunity at every turn.
THERE IS A WAY FORWARD
The Free Market Foundation continues to fight for practical reform that opens the economy, protects freedom, and restores the dignity of work. Real change is possible. It begins by reducing coercive state power and placing decision making back in the hands of individuals and communities.
This year, your contribution will strengthen four core areas of reform:
- Jobs and labour freedom: Job Seekers Exemption Certificate (JSEC) removes barriers that keep millions out of work. It lets job seekers accept agreed wages and enter the economy quickly. Your support helps drive this reform forward.
- Liberty First: Liberty First exposes how central control harms prosperity and helps South Africans become state proof through research, media, and public action.
- Ending race based laws: Race based policies divide communities and restrict opportunity. The FMF is working to replace political racial engineering with real equality before the law and a system that empowers every South African.
- Defending property rights: Threats like EWC weaken investment and undermine prosperity. The FMF fights to protect secure ownership, a cornerstone of economic freedom.
- Driving homeownership: Khaya Lam gives families long overdue title deeds, restoring dignity and creating pathways to wealth. Every contribution helps transfer more homes.
THE CHALLENGE
A committed donor has pledged to increase all new contributions by an additional 50% until 28 February 2026.
If you donate R1,000, the FMF will receive R1,500. Your support accelerates reform and drives our work into communities, courts and Parliament.
No contribution is too small. Every Rand helps advance freedom in South Africa. All donations are tax deductible.
HELP US REACH R1 MILLION FOR FREEDOM
South Africa faces a choice. More central control and deeper decline. Or more freedom and a real chance at prosperity.
Your support helps us fight destructive policies, unlock work opportunities, defend property rights, and give more families ownership through the FMF’s Khaya Lam initiative.
