Comments by the FREE MARKET FOUNDATION on the proposed content of the Remuneration of Public Office Bearers Amendment Bill 2023

On 20 January 2023, Dr Leon Schreiber MP caused to be published in the Government Gazette a
General Notice which indicates that he intends to introduce in Parliament, as a private member’s
Bill, a Remuneration of Public Office Bearers Amendment Bill, 2023. The General Notice states
that it thereby publishes an “explanatory summary” of the Bill.
